Georgette Grady (Elementary)

 

 

Georgette Grady was hired in Community Unit School District 300 in 1996.  She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1999.  She graduated with her Master's Degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work in 1996.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree cum laude in Psychology at Illinois State University in 1992.  She has been fortunate to work with students and families since she was selected to be a peer counselor at her high school in 1986.  She has worked in a variety of settings doing research projects, supervising a partial hospitalization program, implementing behavioral interventions at a therapeutic day school/ residential treatment center, conducting family and marital therapy, doing in-home treatment with individuals diagnosed with autism, and working crisis hotlines.  She is currently a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and has been a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology serving as the Senior Mentor at Illinois State University.
